  5.         Ivan Stewart maintained his slim point lead in the SCORE
  6. International desert off-road racing championship point standings
  7. despite a second straight setback in the recently completed Gold Coast
  8. 300 presented by Ford.

  10.         Stewart, of Alpine, Calif., now has 214 points with only the
  11. Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 to go on Nov. 12-13. Second in overall points is
  12. Mike Julson of Santee, Calif., with 194, and third is Steve Sourapas of
  13. Encinitas, Calif. with 191.
